Mystery Rolls

Ohhh...great. I have no idea what these rolls are.

Not sure if they are regular Portra 400 burnt rolls or if I have bulk loaded with black and white Artista 400. Don't remember which camera these are from or when or where these are burnt.

Normally, I immediately label the rolls with painters tape and a sharpie.

I tried fishing for the lead but was unsuccessful on either of them...(and I'm pretty proficient in fishing out the lead)

I am leaning toward it being respooled Artista 400 but still not willing to take the chance.

I think I'm just gonna have to pop the top, spool it for the tank and clip a small piece of it before I close it up to determine which film stock it looming about in there. I guess I can also, feel out the leader, if it's one of my short ones or if it's a regular manufactured cut leader.

I'd love to save the cassette to be reused but under these circumstances, determination of the celluloid material is precedent.
